Hungary
Hungary holds the record for the worst hyperinflation in history, and its banknotes are among the most sought-after in the world.
This collection covers the Austro-Hungarian korona, the inter-war pengő, the 1945-1946 milpengő and B.-pengő notes with up to twenty zeros, the adópengő tax notes and the forint introduced in August 1946.
We are based in Hungary, so many of these notes come from local sources. Each is authentic, graded honestly and photographed front and back.

About Hungary banknotes
Hungary used the korona of Austria-Hungary until 1927, then the pengő. The 1945–1946 hyperinflation, the worst ever recorded, forced the milpengő and B.-pengő before the forint arrived on 1 August 1946. The forint is still Hungary's currency, and the early forint notes of 1946–1947 are now among the most sought-after Hungarian notes.
