It honours Manuel de Falla (1876–1946), Spain's great composer of "El amor brujo" and "The Three-Cornered Hat", who lived for many years in Granada. The back shows the Generalife, the summer palace and gardens beside the Alhambra in Granada. The peseta was replaced by the euro in 2002.

🎨 Design Details:
Front: a portrait of Manuel de Falla based on the painting by Ignacio Zuloaga, with the coat of arms of Spain in the background and "Cien Pesetas, Madrid, 17 de Noviembre de 1970".
Back: the Patio de la Acequia of the Generalife in Granada, with its long pool and fountains.

🔍 Numismatic Features:

Size: 135 × 77 mm

Material: Paper

Type: Standard circulation banknote

Currency: Spanish peseta

Country: Spain

Issuing Authority: Banco de España

Date: 17 November 1970

Printer: Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre, Madrid

✅ Condition Guide:
VF (Very Fine) / Circulated. Shows clear signs of circulation, such as several folds, minor edge wear and some loss of crispness, while remaining fully intact with clear design details.
