The Banque Centrale du Congo issued these notes with the date 30 June 2013. The designs celebrate the country's wildlife, the Congo River and its peoples: the okapi on the 1000 Francs lives only in the forests of the DR Congo, and the 100 Francs shows the Inga hydroelectric dam on the Congo River.

🎨 Design Details:
50 Francs: a Tshokwe Mwana Pwo mask; back: a fishermen's village on the Congo River.
100 Francs: an African bush elephant in Virunga National Park; back: power lines and the Inga hydroelectric dam.
200 Francs: a field worker and a sculpture representing agriculture; back: drummers with a large slit drum.
1000 Francs: two okapis and a carved Kanioka box; back: an African grey parrot and maize.

🔍 Numismatic Features:

Sizes: 150 × 70 mm, 151 × 70 mm, 150 × 70 mm and 140 × 72 mm

Material: Paper

Type: Standard circulation banknotes

Currency: Congolese franc

Country: Democratic Republic of the Congo

Issuing Authority: Banque Centrale du Congo

Date: 30 June 2013

✅ Condition Guide:
UNC (Uncirculated). A crisp, uncirculated note with no folds, creases or handling marks, retaining its original sheen and sharp corners.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0805/8647/3806/files/DR_Congo_4_Banknote_Set_2013_UNC_1_main.jpg?v=1793641635
https://extremebanknotes.com/products/dr-congo-4-banknote-set-2013-unc-okapi-elephant-and-grey-parrot
