The National Bank of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued its own dinar, dated 1 July 1992, to replace the collapsing Yugoslav dinar on government-held territory. The notes were printed abroad by Cetis in Celje, Slovenia, and signed by Governor Stijepo Andrijić. The currency suffered heavy inflation during the war and was replaced by the convertible mark in 1998.

🎨 Design Details:
The fronts, designed by Dževad Hozo, show the denomination over large guilloche rosettes, with the bank name in Latin and Cyrillic letters.
